Every post passes five checks before you ever see it

UListPost is not a wall where anyone can pin anything. When a post is submitted, it goes to the screening desk first. Software reads the license, the words, the photos and the phone before the post can appear on the board. If anything looks wrong, the post waits for a human review, and the poster is told exactly why.

The five checks

  • License and DBPR match: Pros in licensed trades post with a Florida license number. We verify the format and cross-check the number against Florida licensing records for the trade claimed, so a made up number stops at the door.
  • Identity consistency: The business name, the phone number and the service area have to agree with each other. A fresh burner phone hiding behind a thirty year old business name is exactly the kind of mismatch that gets a post held.
  • Photo screening: Photos are read by vision AI for signs they were lifted from stock libraries or copied from someone else's listing. A pro's own job photos pass. Borrowed photos wait for a person to look.
  • Scam text patterns: The words are read for the classics: deposits by gift card or wire transfer, prices far below market, pressure to move off the platform, and offers that are simply too good. One strong flag is enough to hold a post.
  • Duplicate check: The same post sprayed across a dozen towns, or one phone number hiding behind many business names, gets stopped. One business gets one honest listing per town it truly serves.

A real catch

“Full AC Replacement - Only $99 Complete System Installed” · Fort Lauderdale

This post asked for a deposit by gift card and wire transfer. It never went live. The screening note read:

“The post requests a deposit by gift card or wire transfer, which is a common scam tactic.”

Shown from our launch testing, with the poster's details removed.

What screening does not promise

The AI Screened mark describes the listing, not the person. It means this post passed the five checks above; it is not a guarantee of anyone's work or honesty. Ask for license and insurance papers before work starts, the same as anywhere else. Screening makes the board cleaner. It does not replace your own judgment.

And one more thing: flagged posts wait for a person. Nothing flagged goes live on a machine's say so alone.
